TRAVELING Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily • This role will be based directly on a project job site for an extended period of time, with locations spanning across the Southeastern United States.** We are a nationally recognized general contractor dedicated to building vibrant, community-focused multifamily developments. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support our multifamily construction projects across various locations. The ideal candidate will assist the Superintendent in overseeing all aspects of construction, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Superintendent in managing and coordinating construction activities on-site. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times. • Help oversee subcontractors and ensure their work meets project specifications. • Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and report any issues to the Superintendent. • Assist in maintaining project documentation, including daily reports and logs. • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction status. • Help manage inventory and order materials as needed. • Support the training and development of field personnel. Qualifications • Proven experience as an Assistant Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably in multifamily projects. • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and safety protocols. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. • Ability to travel frequently to different project sites as required. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
