Software Engineer - Web Scraping Position Overview We are seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in Web Scraping to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web scraping tools to gather data from various online sources, contributing to data-driven decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain web scraping applications using tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, and Selenium. • Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and optimize scraping processes. • Implement browser automation techniques to efficiently extract data from complex web pages. • Integrate APIs to enhance data collection capabilities and streamline workflows. • Conduct reverse engineering of web applications to facilitate effective data extraction strategies. • Monitor and resolve issues related to scraping performance and data accuracy. • Stay updated with the latest web scraping technologies and best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in web scraping and browser automation. • Proficiency in using Puppeteer, Playwright, and Selenium for web scraping tasks. • Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs. • Experience in Finance or Payment domains is preferred. • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex web scraping challenges. • Familiarity with reverse engineering concepts and techniques.
