Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Architect/Project Lead specializing in K-12 education projects. This role involves leading architectural design and documentation efforts for K-12 educational facilities, ensuring compliance with DSA regulations and delivering high-quality results that meet client expectations. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage architectural projects from conceptual design through construction documentation and administration. • Ensure compliance with DSA regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle. • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to establish project goals and requirements. • Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure project alignment and execution. • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise. • Mentor junior architects and interns, providing guidance on design and documentation processes. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. • Active NCARB certification and AIA membership preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on K-12 projects. • Strong understanding of DSA regulations and requirements for educational facilities. • Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
