We're looking for personnel with a strong technical background in safety testing, evaluation, and risk management within complex systems. Experience supporting facility consolidations and/or transitions including safety assessments and transition planning, is highly desired. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in Safety Risk Management (SRM)—including hazard identification, analysis, documentation, and mitigation—in support of FAA programs and NAS operational changes. Job Duties Include • Lead safety testing, evaluation, and validation efforts on complex NAS programs • Develop and maintain safety documentation and risk management plans • Coordinate with FAA stakeholders to support operational and safety risk management activities • Mentor junior safety specialists and provide technical expertise on safety processes Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, or science with 8 – 15 years of relevant experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Strong preference given to applicants having FAA, air traffic management, and/or aviation experience/education.
