Lead safety testing, evaluation, and validation efforts on complex NAS programs, develop safety documentation and risk management plans, coordinate with FAA stakeholders, and mentor junior safety specialists.
Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, or science with 8-15 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and preferably FAA or aviation experience.
We're looking for personnel with a strong technical background in safety testing, evaluation, and risk management within complex systems. Experience supporting facility consolidations and/or transitions including safety assessments and transition planning, is highly desired. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in Safety Risk Management (SRM)—including hazard identification, analysis, documentation, and mitigation—in support of FAA programs and NAS operational changes.
