Position Description: Subject Matter Expert Program Manager Overview CPMC is excited to announce an opening for a Subject Matter Expert Program Manager for an upcoming government program under the DHS USCIS Business Process Improvement and Management Support Services. This role is vital in driving efficiencies and improvements in federal programs and processes. The position is hybrid and requires candidates to be local to the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage large-scale, complex federal programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with federal regulations. - Develop and implement strategic program plans, ensuring the delivery of quality services. - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness. - Utilize Agile methodologies to drive program improvements, manage risks, and optimize operational performance. - Prepare and present program performance reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders. - Engage with various levels of stakeholders, ensuring alignment and garnering support for program initiatives. Qualifications Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required. - Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: - A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in program and project management, with at least 5 years in managing large-scale, complex federal programs or initiatives. Certifications: - Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or equivalent certification is required. - Agile or SAFe certification is preferred. Skills and Competencies: - Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and competing priorities. - Experience in program planning, risk management, and performance reporting. - Excellent communication skills, with a knack for engaging stakeholders at the executive level. - Familiarity with USCIS processes and requirements is highly desired.
