Full Description

Overview CPMC is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) Business Analyst for an upcoming government program within the DHS USCIS Business Process Improvement and Management Support Services. This position is crucial for driving advancements in federal programs and enhancing operational efficiency. The role is hybrid, requiring candidates to be local to the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, and does not necessitate a security clearance. Familiarity with USCIS processes is highly desired. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with USCIS standards and objectives. • Serve as a key resource in process optimization initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Conduct thorough requirements analysis, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions. • Develop process maps, workflows, and business models to facilitate understanding and promote optimal practices within the program. • Support system integration efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration between various platforms and stakeholders. • Leverage Agile methodologies to manage project deliverables, facilitate testing, and ensure successful system deployment. • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a business analyst or SME. • At least 5 years supporting federal programs in areas such as process optimization, requirements analysis, and system integration. Certifications: • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred. Skills/Competencies: • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow optimization. • Proficient understanding of Agile methodologies, testing, and system deployment. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable business solutions.
