Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of related experience with demonstrated progressive leadership in business process improvement and operations.
The Vice President, Business Processes is focused on maximizing the effectiveness of the Network Solutions operations in an effort to create value and retain customers across the enterprise. They will partner with operations and Product personnel, evaluate pricing methodologies, operational processes, quality and quantity control measures and identify training, system and/or process modifications to ensure a consistent and efficient result across the enterprise. This is a remote position. Essential Functions & Responsibilities • Analyze existing NS business processes and systems. Identify improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve quality and maximize revenue and customer value. • Create documentation outlining process, pricing and productivity modification opportunities • Oversee the process improvement implementation process by working with managers, Task Force team members and other employees to ensure a clear strategic plan is developed, and implemented quickly and efficiently • Create documentation outlining the plan and any changes to the plan over time. Work with Product Management to implement system enhancements • Serve as the Leader of the Bill Review Task Force • Conduct Ongoing Analyses. Once changes have been implemented, continue to monitor and assess various processes to ensure that they produce the desired outcomes. Make recommended changes to steps in each process as needed to adjust improvements to reflect better results in production, cost reduction, customer value and other targeted outcomes • Update Department Procedures and Policies. Ensure that all field operations are familiar with relevant procedural changes and oversee the training of staff and creation of documents addressing new procedures and policies • Meet with local operational teams, including RVP’s and AVP’s to identify areas of opportunity to include in achieving the objectives outlined above • Partner with internal operations, State Advocates and Business Operations under the Network Solutions umbrella (Bill Review, PPO, EPPO) • Facilitate the communication between the field operations and the BOT to address any system enhancements • Performs other duties, including MBO projects, as assigned Knowledge & Skills • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required • Essential to possess strong written and oral communication abilities, as they are responsible for creating documents, interacting with managerial staff and training employees as needed. Should be detail-oriented problem-solver who is able to employ leadership, critical thinking and time management skills and can work effectively both independently and in teams • Monitor internal controls and make recommendations as needed • Coordinate teams and train staff • Reduce process errors, improve process results and reduce costs Education & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred • At least 4 years prior, related experience required; demonstrated progressive leadership preferred Pay Range CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time. For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
