We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst - ERP to join our growing organization! Qualifications General Position Summary The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as a key liaison between business operations and technology teams, ensuring that ERP and related business systems effectively support organizational goals. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and translating requirements, and guiding the design, configuration, and implementation of ERP solutions across the enterprise. The BSA partners closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancement, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology capabilities. In addition to leading initiatives for new functionality and system improvements, the BSA provides ongoing production support, drives continuous process improvement, and contributes to the overall health and evolution of the ERP ecosystem. Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities • Collaborate with functional leaders and stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and implement ERP applications or enhancements using industry best practices. • Define, refine, and promote methodologies for application lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with best practices and a culture of continuous improvement. • Build strong partnerships with business leaders and functional teams to identify how ERP and related business systems can deliver new value and operational efficiency. • Plan and manage small to large-scale system initiatives, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and deliverables are met within defined scope and budget. • Coordinate project activities and serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the applications team; facilitate meetings, requirements sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Understand and support integration with third-party systems within the ERP ecosystem; collaborate with external vendors, implementation partners, and consultants on both new initiatives and production support. • Partner with ERP, Salesforce, and other technology teams to design scalable enterprise solutions and contribute to the evolution of enterprise architecture. • Manage the deployment of system enhancements and modifications in accordance with established change management processes. • Support system stability and performance by applying best practices in master data management, data integration, and information infrastructure management. • Understand ERP data structures and flows to ensure that information assets are properly governed, maintained, and leveraged across the enterprise; assist in developing analytical, ad hoc, and exception reports to improve business performance. • Provide bi-weekly documentation detailing the progress made in the prior two weeks toward onboarding activities, developing process and technical proficiencies, areas where specific challenges are either being overcome or where help is needed, developing relationships both on the Technology team as well as with business constituents and/or vendors, and planned activities toward these ends for the coming two weeks. Specific Job Requirements • High levels of personal integrity when conducting the professional affairs of the organization and dealing with sensitive and confidential data relating to risks and costs. • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources. • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key business, technology, and interpersonal communications concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff and business stakeholders. • Must possess strong functional expertise in one or more key ERP domains such as Order Management, Shipping and Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Management within an ERP environment. • Must have strong knowledge of ERP concepts and business processes, with prior hands-on experience working on a major ERP system, including the ability to inspect configurations & setups. • Should be able to manage customer expectations regarding scope, schedule, and budgetary parameters. • Engage with business leaders and end-users to understand the requirements as well as facilitate and collaborate with various groups to outline processes & application designs to improve efficiency. • Strong customer service orientation and should be able to identify and prioritize IT-Tickets (production support), IT-Requests (all other requested applications activity), and technical and functional requirements. • Strong analytical, data-processing, and problem-solving skills. • Skill at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Education And Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related degree, or equivalent experience. • Four to six years of experience as a business systems analyst within an ERP environment. • Experience in facilitating cross-functional meetings, managing projects from initiation to delivery, and serving as a liaison between business users and technical teams • Functional knowledge in one or more key ERP domains such as Order Management, Shipping and Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Management within an ERP environment. • Fair knowledge in accounting modules such as AR, AP, and GL is a plus. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge and ability in SQL Query & Stored procedures is a plus. • Knowledge and concepts in enterprise systems like Oracle EBS and Salesforce.com is a plus.
