Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. They are seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and information systems, while providing exceptional service and support. Responsibilities • Deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots servers and applications which support internal IT operations. • Deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots internal/external networks. • Provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment. • Analyzes the current business and information technology environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions. • Researches and recommends innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. • Identifies approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale. • Orders and installs hardware and/or software as requested. • Supports Microsoft Active Directory environment. • Supports local and cloud hosted services such as email and collaboration tools. • Plans for and responds to service outages and other issues. • Maintains system security programs. • Performs backups and backup maintenance. • Adds, removes or updates user account information, reset passwords, etc. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Skills • Strong analytical skills. • Ability to evaluate technology solutions to the business needs of the organization and find the best possible tools to meet those needs. • Solid customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of customers without being prompted. • Self-motivation. • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field. • Minimum Experience: Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems. • Microsoft Active Directory.
