This role is pivotal in leading the strategic planning and execution of inventory, allocation, and analytics for these high-growth categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales and inventory strategies, driving demand-driven planning and forecasting, and ensuring that inventory strategies align with product, marketing, and channel priorities. A key aspect of the role is to champion innovation by piloting new planning technologies and processes tailored to emerging business models. The VP will also be expected to present data-driven insights to senior leadership and foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in merchandise or inventory planning, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Experience in kids, baby, or new business incubation is a strong plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading planning for both mature and emerging business categories, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and a passion for innovation and customer-centricity.
