Head of Business Development About the Company Dynamic real estate investment management firm Industry Accounting Type Privately Held About the Role The Head of Business Development will be responsible for setting strategic direction and lead the firm’s capital-raising efforts, particularly within the multifamily real-estate investment domain. This individual will leverage an established network of family offices, registered investment advisors (RIAs), and private wealth channels to drive fundraising initiatives, articulate the firm’s investment value proposition, and execute targeted outreach campaigns. Responsibilities include developing thought leadership content, creating and executing a comprehensive business development and sales strategy, conducting proactive investor engagement (calls, meetings, events), staying abreast of market trends and investor behavior, and collaborating across internal teams to tailor messaging and drive growth. Candidates should have at least 10 years' experience in capital-raising or business development within the investment management or real-estate sector, with a proven track record of raising funds from RIAs, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. Deep familiarity with alternative investments and multifamily real-estate investment structures is required, along with strong regulatory awareness in the U.S. A results-oriented mindset, excellent communication (written and verbal), strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and willingness to travel frequently for client meetings are essential.
