Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety, hospitality, and team development. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for culinary excellence and operational efficiency to drive the success of our restaurant. Duties • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction. • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure a motivated and efficient team. • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels. • Supervise food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. • Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. • Coordinate kitchen management activities including food production, catering, banquets, and bar services. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality throughout the restaurant. • Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to meet business goals. • Lead hiring processes including interviewing candidates for various roles within the restaurant. • Develop strategies for customer engagement, marketing initiatives, and community outreach. • Ensure smooth shift management and handle any operational issues promptly. Experience • Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. • Extensive background in food industry operations including food handling, culinary experience, and kitchen management. • Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant settings. • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred. • Experience with inventory control, budgeting, food safety standards, and food production processes. • Prior experience in fine dining or hotel food service management is a plus. • Strong skills in staff training & development, customer service excellence, and team management. • Background in catering, banquet service, or bar management is advantageous.
