Remote Role (Must work in EST time zone) Primary Skills: Kafka, AWS ECS Job Description: Candidate should have experience in Kafka and AWS along with the skillset below. At least 5-7 yrs. working as Kafka SME or Architect. Kafka Setup - Set up Kafka foundational layer with well architected framework AWS MSK Setup - Cloud formation template, Deployment via Gitlab Kafka connect: • Kafka proxy • Schema registry • Cruise control • KSQL • AKHQ setup (GUI tool) This needs to be built and developed on AWS ECS. Monitoring - Leverage Prometheus and Grafana to scrape and design monitoring and Observability for MSK. If needed host it on AWS ECS. ECS setup - CloudFormation template, Deployment via Gitlab
