Comcast Business focuses on reliable network services and advanced voice, Ethernet and business-class products to help organizations connect and grow. ## Role Summary This Account Manager, Enterprise Direct Sales role manages a named portfolio of mid-market and regional accounts to protect and grow existing revenue and identify incremental sales opportunities. The position is responsible for strategic account planning, customer satisfaction, contract renewals and meeting revenue and retention targets for Comcast Business. ## Key Responsibilities - Meet or exceed monthly sales quota by identifying and closing incremental sales and revenue opportunities - Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams - Maintain regular account contact to align Comcast Business services with customer needs and priorities - Propose and deliver solutions (e.g., Advanced Voice, Metro Ethernet, other Business Class products) to meet customer requirements - Serve as the primary escalation point and maintain customer satisfaction - Manage cultivation, execution and delivery of sales and services for local and regional enterprise and mid-market accounts - Develop account management plans in collaboration with Sales, Finance and Operations leadership to optimize sales and retention - Position and sell Comcast Business services across multiple organizational levels, including C-level and executive stakeholders - Manage revenue, sales opportunities, pipeline, quotas and forecasts consistent with regional and corporate goals - Exercise independent judgment and discretion on significant matters and perform other duties as assigned ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred; Comcast may consider equivalent coursework plus relevant experience or extensive related professional experience - 5–7 years of relevant work experience in account management, sales or a related commercial role - Demonstrated experience selling enterprise or mid-market telecom, network or business services (consultative selling) - Strong customer relationship and escalation management skills - Proven ability to develop account plans, manage pipelines, and meet revenue/retention targets - Comfortable engaging with executive-level stakeholders (including C-level) and cross-functional internal partners - Willingness to work variable schedules, including nights/weekends and overtime as necessary ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Advanced Voice, Metro Ethernet or other business-class networking products - Familiarity with forecasting tools, CRM systems and digital sales tools - Prior experience in a Fortune-scale or large regional sales organization - Relevant sales or industry certifications (if applicable) ## Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: Not specified in the posting - Benefits: comprehensive offerings designed to support physical, financial and emotional well-being, including multiple plan options, expert guidance and always-on tools (see Comcast careers site for details) - Perks: career growth across teams and locations, access to NBCUniversal opportunities, and development through company programs - Work arrangements: position may require onsite, field or hybrid activity and includes variable hours; specific remote/hybrid policy not provided ## Company Culture & Values Comcast emphasizes customer-first service, continuous learning and teamwork guided by its Operating Principles.
