As an integral part of our organization, you will leverage your technical skills to manage complex financial data, prepare detailed reports, and uphold the highest standards of financial accuracy and transparency. Duties • Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to ensure precise financial records. • Perform balance sheet reconciliation regularly to verify asset, liability, and equity account balances. • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and accurate recordkeeping. • Conduct bank reconciliations to match company records with bank statements, identifying discrepancies promptly. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). • Assist with budgeting processes and monitor financial performance against budgets. • Maintain proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools to streamline workflows. • Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and governmental accounting standards. • Perform technical accounting tasks related to governmental accounting requirements and non-profit accounting as needed. • Conduct account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping to uphold data integrity. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments with a strong understanding of financial concepts. • Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other relevant financial platforms. • Solid knowledge of GAAP standards along with experience in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting. • Familiarity with governmental or non-profit accounting practices is a plus. • Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and account reconciliation efficiently. • Strong understanding of debits & credits, journal entries, bookkeeping principles, and double-entry bookkeeping systems. • Excellent skills in financial report writing, budget management, and account analysis. • High level of accuracy in 10 key typing and data entry tasks combined with attention to detail. • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and preparing clear financial documentation.
