From wildfire mitigation to grid modernization, you’ll play a critical role in keeping major infrastructure programs running smoothly, on time, and on budget. What You’ll Do (and Why It Matters): • Own the Schedule: Build, maintain, and optimize project schedules in P6 or similar tools to keep high-visibility capital projects moving forward. • Drive Financial Accuracy: Support budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and month-end reporting that leadership relies on to make major investment decisions. • Spot the Trends: Track performance, flag risks, and break down variances before they become issues. • Tell the Story: Develop clear dashboards, KPIs, and reports that influence strategy across engineering, construction, and executive teams. • Champion Compliance: Ensure all project documentation hits regulatory and internal standards a crucial part of running safe, reliable electric operations. • Be the Connector: Work directly with Engineering, Environmental, Construction, and Investment Planning to keep projects aligned and moving. • Support Key Decisions: Help guide resource planning, risk management, and capital prioritization for multi-million-dollar initiatives. What You Bring: • Background in project controls, scheduling, or project coordination within utilities, construction, or energy. • Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, SAP, Excel, or similar tools. • A sharp analytical mindset paired with strong communication skills. • Ability to break down complex project and financial data into clear insights. • Comfort working in a regulated, safety-focused environment.
