Overview Georgian Corner Restaurant seeks polished professionals with experience in fine dining, including wine and full alcohol service. If you're passionate about hospitality and detail-oriented, we want you! Duties • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of the dining experience • Take detailed orders accurately using advanced POS systems and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation • Upsell menu items and wine pairings confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with food industry regulations • Monitor guest needs throughout the meal, providing attentive service, refilling drinks, and addressing any concerns promptly to ensure an exceptional experience • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other cashiering tools • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting host/host duties when needed to maintain a clean and organized environment Experience • Proven experience as a fine dining server or in a high-end restaurant setting with a strong background in food service and guest relations • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment • Familiarity with POS systems or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering functions • Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques within the food industry • Previous experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is advantageous for better understanding of food preparation and presentation • Strong communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for accurate billing and cash handling • Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or upscale hospitality settings is a plus but not required We are dedicated to fostering an energetic work environment where your skills shine.
