Job Description The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing multi-channel sales operation that combines telesales, digital acquisition, direct mail, and field sales. This role drives CleanChoice Energy’s mission to make 100% clean electricity accessible by optimizing performance across inbound and outbound sales funnels, managing partner performance, and ensuring each channel contributes to overall net customer growth. The ideal candidate blends data-driven leadership, frontline coaching, and marketing collaboration to increase gross-to-net conversion, scale lead volume efficiency, and elevate the customer experience. Responsibilities Telesales Lead and optimize inbound and outbound telesales operations across multiple partner sites and internal teams. Monitor KPIs including gross enrollments, net conversion, QA pass rates, and agent productivity. Implement structured training, QA feedback loops, and real-time coaching to drive performance. Partner with Legal and Compliance to maintain full regulatory alignment in all markets. Digital Sales Collaborate with Marketing and performance marketing agencies to drive digital conversion. Analyze cost-per-acquisition (CPA/CAC) and lead quality metrics to maximize ROI. Design & optimize omnichannel nurture strategies, to nurture leads to convert. Support omnichannel integration between phone, digital and mail for improved user experience and seamless customer handoff. Deliver performance marketing, affiliate and marketplace initiatives and work cross functionally to create a scalable, cohesive program. Direct Mail Chase via Telesales Oversee outbound call campaigns chasing direct mail recipients to increase response and close rates. Partner with analytics and campaign operations to track mail performance and conversion lag. Develop scripts, incentives, and A/B test frameworks to optimize contact-to-enrollment rates. Field Sales Support Serve as a connective link between telesales and field sales (door-to-door, tabling, events). Identify opportunities for local market activation and referral generation. Coordinate feedback loops between field reps and call centers to improve local market penetration. Reporting & Lead Management Support efficient lead management processes that improve speed-to-lead and overall conversion. Maintain clear visibility into lead performance and attribution to guide daily and weekly decisions. Align lead flow across telesales and digital channels to ensure a consistent prospect experience. Leadership & Management Manage daily, weekly, and quarterly business reviews with internal leadership and partner managers. Translate performance insights into actionable plans to achieve gross and net enrollment targets. Foster a high-performance culture anchored in accountability, development, and customer-first execution. Lead strategic initiatives to expand CleanChoice Energy’s customer footprint in core and emerging markets. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field 7+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 3 years in telesales, marketing, sales operations or related experience. Proven success driving omnichannel growth. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies. Familiarity with Salesforce, Genesys, Invoca, and CRM/marketing automation tools and/or other relevant applications to optimize process and performance. Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration skills. Travel CleanChoice Energy is a remote-first work environment with travel as needed.
