Career Oppty: Sales Representative / Account Executive (training industry), Location: remote/virtual for Indianapolis and the Central Indiana markets I have an exciting career opportunity. NOTE: Over $10k+ in Dale Carnegie sales and performance development training provided. As a Sales Representative / Account Executive you’ll use consultative selling to cultivate existing/dormant accounts, convert website and social media leads to a sale, attend professional & promotional networking events to generate/develop leads and new accounts, and use your “hunter” skills to open new doors. You will build relationships with customers, manage accounts effectively, and manage internal resources supporting the customer and the sale. The position is a blend of inside & outside sales. You’ll be enrolling people in “public” training courses (individuals as well as teams) and selling programs and/or customized professional personnel development solutions to corporations. Using business acumen and proven Dale Carnegie training solutions you'll provide a wide range of performance and business issues for individuals and corporations. Successful candidate will have: A Bachelor’s degree; an entrepreneurial spirit; minimum 5 years of sales, promotional or marketing representative experience (preferably in a professional service industry such as training, talent management, personnel placement, leadership and workforce development solutions, organizational development, benefits or personnel outsourcing, etc.); live in the Central Indiana area (must have 1st hand experience with “local to Indiana” people and companies) and have sold to low-, mid- and/or senior-level managers in the Central Indiana markets (which is Indianapolis and 90 miles to the north and south, plus from Ohio to Illinois); are versed in a consultative sales approach; have exemplary prospecting skills; have a strong business acumen; possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); flexibility to work during the day and an occasional evening; be computer literate with MS Office, Salesforce.com (or other CRM), email management, and web/internet use; and, are motivated by having a high commission structure driven by your top-notch performance (1st year total earnings expectations $50-60k+, 2nd year $100k+, and no cap on your earnings!). The position is 100% commission, independent contractor status with a well-established Training Industry expert firm (with great name recognition) serving clients in the Central Indiana vicinity. There is no “brick & mortar” office so you’ll work from your home office, travel to clients within the territory, have Salesforce.com CRM paid for the 1st year with access to dormant and untapped accounts, training on the Dale Carnegie professional development package (worth $10k+!), and eligibility to attend the company’s Annual Sales Convention.
