We are seeking a Client Service Specialist to join our front office team at Christian Life Counseling! Hours for this position would very, but could range from 10-20 hours a week. You will be responsible for helping clients and therapists by providing service information, coordinating with our off site billing service and assisting with insurance issues/benefit coordination. This individual must possess a confident, calm and warm demeanor. They must be able to listen and follow directions while also having the capacity to take independent initiative and be self-directed. This person must be able to maintain focus for task completion while experiencing multiple interruptions and distractions. This team player requires one to have excellent communication and writing skills as they disseminate information to clients, clinical providers, and other members of our office team. Computer skills are a necessity as you will need to learn and utilize our online schedule with ease. We will also need you to be able to read and utilize our online billing program effectively. Responsibilities: • Answer phones and make phone calls • Provide thorough and accurate information to clients about our services and obtain the required information • Schedule appointments, check in clients and collect payments and balances • Document and update client records based on interactions • Document and maintain shared data • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving services, provider selection and insurance information • Maintain office organization, light cleaning and tracking office supplies • Effectively respond to specific provider requests • Insurance benefit checks • Maintain a high level of privacy adhering closely to HIPAA guidelines • Credentialing with insurance companies • Typical office duties Qualifications: • Previous experience in the healthcare industry • Ability to build rapport with clients • Ability to prioritize, keep organized, and multitask • Positive and professional demeanor • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Please provide a cover letter identifying what specifically interests you in working with Christian Life Counseling as well as why you believe you would be an excellent resource to our team.
