This can be a part time or full time opportunity. Flexible for the right person on number of hours available between 20 - 50 hours available weekly. For full time hours, additional responsibilities may include general kitchen work including tasks such as assembling food, making biscuits, and dishes. Some Responsibilities Include: • Check in and put away daily truck delivery ensuring accuracy of delivered product to the invoice • Organize and maintain inventory including dating and rotating stock • Ensure all FOH and BOH equipment is in proper working order • Maintain outside grounds- parking lot cleanliness and power washing schedule • Clean HVAC/Exhaust unit and change filters • Light plumbing skill to repair leaks and clogged drains • Clean and sanitize restrooms • Maintain and report all building equipment as necessary to restaurant leadership. • Be able to use hand and power tools. • Be able to handle basic repairs and use tools as needed for diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment • Responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment • Changing filters, general maintenance and performing boil outs of Henny Penny deep fryers • Changing interior and exterior lights • Cleaning windows • Liaison with external vendors on larger repairs Requirements: • Prior Restaurant experience preferred • Mornings and some Saturdays required based on business need/emergency repairs • High level of professionalism • Detail oriented • Excellent communication skills • Working knowledge and acumen of machinery • Able to lift heavy boxes (50lbs) • Able to climb up and down a ladder that can exceed 10' in height. • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment. • Possess the skills for problem-solving, “outside the box” thinking, organization, ability to work independently, and holding themselves to high standards of professionalism and teamwork.
