What You Will Do: • Along with a team of other Technicians be responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. • Utilize computer system for work orders • You will utilize various mechanical test equipment (e.g. calipers, etc.) • You will understand or use predictive maintenance technology (e.g. ultrasound, thermography, etc.) • You will utilize mechanical trade skills to complete daily tasks • You will perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines • You will perform equipment repairs; equipment rebuilds, and equipment installation • You will conduct root cause analyses to eliminate sources of failure in equipment • You will actively participate in continuous improvement activities • You will work to establish and maintain equipment at basic conditions through application of CI processes and tools • You will work and communicate with others to ensure efficient and effective operations What You Need: • High School Education or GED • Industrial Technical courses in Industrial Technology preferred • 1-4+ years’ work experience in the food manufacturing industry, industrial electrical and mechanical repairs and technical support for industrial equipment and ancillary equipment. • Strong team player - good communication (written and verbal), with the ability to train others
