Data Technical Lead - Tableau Expertise Proficiency in Tableau required DC area/Hybrid We are seeking a highly skilled Data Technical Lead - Tableau Expertise to join our team and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Tableau dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders. This role requires both technical expertise in Tableau and strong communication skills to translate complex data into clear, meaningful visualizations. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. • Optimize existing dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data sources used in Tableau. • Develop calculated fields, parameters, and complex functions to enhance dashboards. • Integrate Tableau with various data sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms, etc.). • Provide training and documentation to end-users to maximize adoption of Tableau solutions. • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to improve data pipelines and reporting processes. • Stay updated on Tableau features, best practices, and industry trends. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Tableau Developer, Tableau Specialist, or BI Analyst. • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online. • Experience working with SQL and relational databases. • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to present insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Skills • Experience with ETL processes and tools. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Knowledge of other BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.). • Exposure to statistical analysis or predictive modeling.
