Regional Senior Accountant Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out • Newly created Regional Senior Accountant position with a well-established, growth-oriented company • Hands-on role with visibility across leadership, operations, and finance teams • Opportunity to strengthen internal controls and design best-in-class accounting procedures • Work directly with senior leaders on financial reporting, payroll, and operational initiatives • Stable, long-standing company with a collaborative and team-focused environment • Clear opportunities for career development into leadership as the Regional Senior Accountant role expands • Excellent benefits and strong work-life balance within a supportive, people-first culture Key Responsibilities For The Regional Senior Accountant • Oversee and improve accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls • Assist in month-end close (5-day close), including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting • Manage fixed asset depreciation, rollforwards, lease amortization, and union benefits reporting • Support payroll processing and serve as a backup across accounting and payroll functions • Review and approve Accounts Payable check runs while ensuring accuracy and compliance • Calculate and prepare monthly service and construction commissions, adjusting for bad debt in real time • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash reporting • Lead inventory reconciliation, coordinate physical counts, and establish new inventory processes • Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting requirements • The Regional Senior Accountant will also collaborate cross-functionally with HR, operations, and leadership teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency Qualifications For The Regional Senior Accountant • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required • 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA preferred but not required • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/ERP systems • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • The ideal Regional Senior Accountant will be a team player eager to contribute ideas, drive efficiency, and grow into a leadership capacity This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Regional Senior Accountant ready to step into a visible, high-impact role within a stable and growing company that values accuracy, initiative, and professional growth. $80,000 – $100,000 #ZRCFS
