X-Golf Hermitage is looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead our team. We combine world-class golf simulators, a full-service bar, and an appetizing food menu into a community hub where everyone is here to have fun. The Opportunity: This is not a role where you stand around with a clipboard. You are the "Floor General." Working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure that every shift runs smoothly, every beer is cold, and every simulator is working perfectly. This is the perfect role for someone looking to grow their management skills under a supportive leadership team. What You’ll Do: • Run the Floor: You are the primary leader during your shifts. You will manage the flow of the bar, kitchen, and simulators, ensuring the team is executing at a high level. • League Champion: X-Golf Leagues are the heartbeat of our business. You will play a key role in organizing and running league nights, getting to know our regulars, and creating a fun competitive atmosphere. • The GM’s Right Hand: Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks like inventory counts, scheduling, and ordering. You will learn the "business side" of the venue. • Player-Coach: You aren't afraid to jump behind the bar, run food, or bus tables when the team is in the weeds. You lead by example. • Tech Support: Learn the simulators inside and out so you can quickly troubleshoot minor issues and keep the guests playing. Who You Are: • Experience: 1+ year of hospitality or retail leadership experience (Shift Lead, Head Bartender, or Manager). • Guest-Obsessed: You know how to turn a first-time visitor into a regular. You handle guest issues with grace and speed. • Reliable: You understand the hospitality industry requires nights and weekends (our busiest times!). • A Doer: You don’t wait to be told what to fix. If you see a spill, you clean it. If you see a gap in service, you fill it. • Golf Interest is a Plus: You don't need to be a pro, but an interest in sports or golf helps you connect with our guests!
