Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support within a fast-paced medical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with various medical specialties, and outpatient services. Experience with EHR systems, medical terminology, and patient service is essential to ensure smooth clinic operations and positive patient experiences. Duties • Greet patients warmly and manage patient intake processes efficiently • Collect vital signs, update patient histories, and assist with physical examinations • Prepare patients for procedures, including medication administration and X-ray coordination when applicable • Document clinical notes accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems • Assist healthcare providers with procedures such as ICD coding, anatomy assessments, and physiology documentation • Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and insurance verification at the front desk • Maintain clinical supplies and ensure cleanliness of treatment areas in compliance with safety standards Requirements • Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions • Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse patient populations • Ability to work effectively in inpatient or outpatient settings with hospital experience preferred • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and clinical procedures • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.61 - $18.82 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
