About This Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Business Development Lead for our Fresh Coast team, who builds relationships, drives sales, and helps scales tech-enabled consulting opportunities in our Climate & Carbon, Sustainability, and Water & Nature service areas. This role – focused on developing consulting projects and successfully executing them with clients – requires collaborating with the group’s co-founders, technical experts, and customer success team in addition to key teams within Cascade Energy. Additionally, success in the role will require building strong relationships with clients, determining customer needs, develop quotes and innovative proposals for services, collaborating with customer success to close sales, executing a successful handoff to appropriate staff for service delivery, and remaining connected to the customer and the work, to ensure success and position for additional opportunities to serve the customer. This role is focused on delivering outcomes that directly contribute to team and business goals. What You Will Be Doing Provide subject matter expertise in climate, sustainability, water, and/or nature to advance client conversations and develop detailed and complex technical proposals Lead proposal teams to create and submit winning bids aligned with strategic objectives Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including executive level relationships, critical to driving long-term business growth Prospect and qualify prospects for interest in Fresh Coast services Initiate projects with clients and successfully handoff won work to the delivery team Other related business development tasks This is a full-time, exempt position to be fully remote. Candidate must be willing to travel up to 25% for business related purposes. Preference will be given to candidates residing near a major airport. Compensation & Benefits Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. The compensation for this position is subject to the Cascade Energy Sales Incentive Plan which is designed to motivate and reward sales employees for their contributions to Cascade Energy / Fresh Coast success and includes a base salary and a variable component based on individual performance. The potential earnings for this role are $110,000 - $175,000, based on performance. However, the final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experiences, internal equity, and geographical location.
