Seeking an experienced A-Level Technician — earn upwards of $12,000/month and grow with a winning team. Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic team, specializing in both European and Domestic vehicles. This highly responsible role requires a skilled professional capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive dealership experience and a deep understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain, and advanced diagnostics. This position offers an opportunity to lead technical projects, mentor junior staff, and deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including European and Domestic makes. • Lead the troubleshooting process utilizing schematics, automotive electrical systems, and diagnostic tools such as ADAS systems. • Conduct complex repairs including diesel engine repair, transmission work, alignment services, and auto body repairs when necessary. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently. • Oversee vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards. • Mentor and supervise junior technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. • Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed using diagnostic software and service manuals. • Collaborate with service advisors to communicate technical findings clearly to customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Skills • Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. • Expertise in ADAS calibration, schematics interpretation, and electronic systems troubleshooting. • Proficiency in diesel engine repair, powertrain work, alignment procedures, and vehicle electrical systems. • Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes including GM vehicles; experience with auto body repair is a plus. • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery. • Strong understanding of automotive service procedures including customer service principles. • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; familiarity with automotive electrical systems is essential. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance.
