This role supports daily operations by supervising cashiers, resolving guest issues, and helping ensure a clean, organized, and efficient service area. Responsibilities • Lead and support cashiers during shifts to maintain smooth front-end operations and excellent guest service. • Greet guests, take orders, process payments, and ensure orders are accurate and timely. • Train and coach new and existing cashiers on POS use, cash handling, upselling, and service standards. • Monitor cash drawers, perform cash drops, and assist with end-of-shift cash reconciliation according to company procedures. • Help manage the line and guest flow to meet speed-of-service goals, including coordinating with kitchen and front of the house teams. • Respond to and resolve guest concerns or complaints, escalating to a manager when needed. • Keep the front counter, beverage, and POS areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift. • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned, including basic paperwork and shift checklists. Qualifications • 1–2 years of QSR, restaurant, or retail cashier experience required. • Previous lead, trainer, or key-holder experience preferred. • Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. • Comfortable using POS systems and following strict cash-handling and accuracy standards. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift. • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally (boxes, product, supplies). • Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly in a busy restaurant environment.
