Remote Auto Claims Operations Manager (Remote) About the Role A rapidly expanding, private-equity–backed car care network with dozens of locations across the Midwest is strengthening its operational foundation to support aggressive nationwide growth. They are seeking a Remote Auto Claims Operations Manager — candidates must reside in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, or Indiana — to take full ownership of the claims lifecycle, streamline processes, and enhance the customer experience across a multi-site environment. Why This Role Matters This is a high-impact builder role. As the company scales, claims management is becoming a strategic function that requires a leader who can design systems, reduce financial exposure, and improve operational consistency. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction, cost control, and cross-departmental efficiency. What You’ll Do Oversee auto damage claims from initiation through final resolution. Design and implement standardized claims processes (SOPs) across all locations. Build and manage relationships with trusted repair shops and service partners. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or disputed claims. Analyze claims data to identify trends, reduce costs, and recommend improvements. Partner closely with operations, customer success, and leadership to align workflows and drive results. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of automotive insurance claims management experience. Strong technical understanding of how vehicles are built and damage is assessed. Proven experience improving or building claims processes in multi-site or service-driven environments. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence organizational alignment. Comfort in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. Must reside in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, or Indiana (role is fully remote within these states). Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $100,000+ Annual Bonus: 10% Location: Fully Remote (IL, WI, MI, IN only) Benefits: Full benefits package available and shared during interview stages.
