Full Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist mechanics and welders with basic tasks and setups • Run errands such as picking up parts, supplies, and materials as needed • Perform light mechanic work, including simple repairs and equipment prep (as directed) • Maintaining tools, cords and equipment so that they are kept in good working order and are safe to use • Maintaining the work area(s) in a clean and orderly manner on a continuous basis • Ability to work in a safe and responsible manner • Other duties as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS • The employee will be exposed to working conditions that include working near loud, large heavy equipment and near moving mechanical parts • Early start workdays, occasional night and weekend work required • Effective verbal and listening communication skills • Excellent organizational skills • Must be honest, trustworthy and demonstrate sound work ethics • Must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance • Must provide their own tools (at least basic hand tools) The above declarations are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job described.
