Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician, CJDR Technician or multi-brand, to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles. This role involves performing complex repairs, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and ensuring customer vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. The Automotive Technician will utilize advanced tools and diagnostic equipment to deliver exceptional service and support our commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. • Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems. • Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system inspections. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools effectively. • Repair or replace ADAS components and perform wheel alignments to manufacturer specifications. • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. • Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality control procedures. • Maintain detailed service records and document work performed for each vehicle. • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering questions professionally. • Assist with auto estimating processes when necessary to ensure accurate billing. Qualifications • Proven dealership experience or service technician experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. • Familiarity with Schematics, ADAS calibration, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive electrical systems. • Experience working with GM vehicles is a plus. • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery. • Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
