Job Category Sales, Marketing & Product Management Position Summary We’re currently looking for a Regional Account Lead – Public Sector to join our team remotely This role will be responsible for building relationships, generating new sales, and working closely with support teams to identify upsell opportunities within the public sector. Your customers will include government agencies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, equipment upfitters focused on the public sector, government contractors, and other strategic partners. Success in this role requires a strategic approach to sales, excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the public sector landscape, and the ability to formulate and execute an effective plan to meet your goals and objectives. Responsibilities Sales Generation: Identify and target new sales opportunities within the public sector, including prospecting, cold calling, fielding inbound leads, networking including partner recruitment and partner management. RFP Management and Delivery: Work closely with our support teams to accurately and completely fill out and submit RFPs. Act as the face of the organization and the main POC for communications from the requesting authority. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape within the public sector. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software. Event Participation: Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote products and services. Minimum Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in the public sector. Government or Public Sector sales is a preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
