Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brenntag North America is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Projects and PMO to join their team. This role involves collaborating with the CEO and executive team to define strategic priorities and manage key projects, ensuring operational efficiency and effective communication across departments. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and execute strategic priorities, translating organizational goals into actionable plans. • Support systematic prioritization and development of strategy and transformation roadmap within region. • Oversee and manage key strategic projects and initiatives (including M&A due diligence and integrations), ensuring timely progress and alignment with overall objectives. • Serve as a bridge between the executive and various departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication and information flow. • Streamline internal processes, resolve bottlenecks, and implement systems to improve operational efficiency and team productivity. • Prepare materials for executive meetings, help manage the executive calendar to prioritize high-impact activities, and act as a representative in certain meetings and engagements. • Assess key executive risks, flag issues proactively and pre-emptively in region and communicate these to relevant stakeholders. • Conduct research, analyze data, and synthesize information to support executive decision-making. • Work to align teams around the executive's vision, upholding and nurturing the organization's culture. Skills • 10+ years in leadership roles, with demonstrated strong business acumen • Minimum of a BS degree • A strong grasp of business strategy, operational excellence, and organizational dynamics • The ability to lead without direct authority, guiding projects and teams toward successful outcomes • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information and build relationships at various levels of the organization, including senior leadership around the globe • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as effective communication and presentation styles, including creating clear and concise power point presentations to convey a message • Expert problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues and identify core problems within business processes • Strong work ethic.
