Senior Project Management Manager Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Customer Support organization is seeking an energetic Senior Project Management Manager to lead the Contractual & Data Services (C&DS) Department, providing 24/7 support to Boeing commercial airplane customers and our Customer Support Project Management team in Seal Beach, CA. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a fast-paced team working complex technical challenges in support of our service engineering operation for return to service. The Manager will interact with other managers, service engineering and design / specialized engineering teams, Fleet Chief Offices, Regional Vice Presidents (RVP), U.S. and International commercial customers, and other Customer Support organizations. This position requires an individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, is comfortable interacting with diverse culture and can support variable shifts. Position Responsibilities: Manages two distinct teams: C&DS team responsible for the Customer Support charging policy related to Engineering Services and Data/Drawing access for Boeing commercial airplanes Project Management team responsible for supporting various Customer Support projects. Support strategic discussions regarding growing the revenue generating portion of the business and working the financial offsets between business units Primary duties of the team include customer service interface, estimates to Customer, responsible for releasing data / drawings and various Boeing Intellectual Property content directly to Customers. Develops and executes projects and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. Business owner of the ACT Boeing system. Applies information in a way that contributes to the organization's strategic plan and bottom line. Manages, develops, and motivates employees. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Seal Beach, CA.
