Associate or Mid-Level Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly and Installation) Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations The Boeing Company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Jacksonville, FL facility with our KC-46/KC-135 support teams. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Build Plan development and maintenance Work instruction authoring Shop support Reading and interpreting Engineering data Structures support Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 2+ years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above job duties. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active Secret Clearance 5+ years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above job duties. 1+ years’ experience in Modification Repair Overhaul (MRO) More Duties and Responsibilities (Associate) Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions. Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build. Assists in implementing manufacturing plans. Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience. More Duties and Responsibilities (Mid-Level) Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices. Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions. Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule. Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies.
