Team Name: Creative Development Job Title: Associate Producer, Creative Development - Temp (SFD / Cinematics) Requisition ID: R026424 Job Description: Blizzard Entertainment’s Story & Franchise Development team is looking for an Associate Producer to support the day-to-day management of our talented creative development department. This entry-level position will support production and provide coverage across multiple departments that will fluctuate based on current needs. We are looking for a candidate that is extremely organized and process-minded, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid work environment and adaptable to priorities that will shift week to week. This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this role is Irvine, CA. This is a 6-month temporary position. Responsibilities Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Provide overall support for the department producers in creative development, including lore, books, writing, storyboards, editorial, and visual development Schedule meetings for artists, stakeholders, and creative leaders to discuss projects Take concise and comprehensive notes during meetings and distribute them to internal/external stakeholders in a timely manner Assist producers with the tracking and completion of daily tasks and action items Manage administrative tasks, including submitting timecards, archiving documents, tracking project statuses, and maintaining network folders Step into certain producorial duties and provide coverage when producers are unavailable Minimum Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Persistent self-motivation and initiative; hardworking “can-do” attitude is necessary Ability to create and maintain complex schedules Experience using Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office Suite Extra Points Previous experience in animation production for TV or feature film Knowledge of Blizzard games, franchises, and expanded universes Familiarity with Jira, Final Draft, Shotgrid, Photoshop, Storyboard Pro Submission Materials Resume (PDF) Cover Letter Your Platform Best known for iconic video game universes including Warcraft®, Overwatch®, Diablo®, and StarCraft®, Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
