About Betabrand Betabrand is a forward-thinking online clothing company based in San Francisco, combining community-driven design with innovative, stylish workwear and activewear. Our team values creativity, collaboration, and solving real-world problems with technology. Position Overview Betabrand is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our development team. This internship provides hands-on experience building and maintaining e-commerce applications, internal tools, and web solutions that power our brand. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to real projects while gaining valuable industry experience. This is a paid internship at $23/hour, offering practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world software development in an innovative e-commerce environment. Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying web and mobile applications. Participate in team code reviews and collaborate with engineers on ongoing projects. Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications. Contribute to feature development, performance optimization, and user experience improvements. Document code and workflows to support team knowledge sharing. Learn and apply best practices for software development, testing, and version control. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and programming languages (Python, Java, Ruby, or similar). Familiarity with frameworks, version control (Git), and databases is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or on-site setting.
