Employment Type Staff Internal Job Category Non-Exempt (Staff) Full-Time Department Strategic Venues & Event Svcs Hours 40 Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Position purpose: This position assists with leading the Venue Operations Crew to ensure smooth and efficient operations. It helps organize daily tasks, supports setup and tear-down of event equipment, and follows all safety and quality standards. The role works closely with team members and other departments to keep events on schedule and meet setup requirements. Additionally, it helps maintain event equipment by ensuring items are clean, functional, and properly stored after use. Essential Functions: • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Venue Operations Crew members to ensure smooth and efficient event operations. Provide clear direction, coaching and support to ensure the team meets quality and safety standards. • Assist in overseeing the setup and tear-down of event equipment including tents, tables, chairs, staging, protective flooring, lobby furniture and other equipment. • Assist in ensuring that all installations are performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with Belmont quality and OHSA standards. • Coordinate with other team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely event readiness. • Collaborate with customers to understand their event requirements and provide tailored solutions. Deliver an excellent customer experience by addressing client needs and ensuring events are executed flawlessly. • Assist with upholding all safety protocols during setup, breakdown and transportation of event items. • Assist with conducting quality checks on equipment to ensure it meets our high standards before and after each event. Applicable fields of study include Venue Management, Events Management, Hospitality and Tourism Required Experience Experience: 1-3 years experience with production set-up crews, event crews or manual labor teams with increasing responsibility.
