Full Description

beehiiv is the all-in-one newsletter and creator platform powering the next generation of media companies and independent voices. We help creators and businesses launch, grow, and monetize newsletters—now serving tens of thousands of publishers and reaching hundreds of millions of readers monthly. With $20M+ ARR, 100% YoY growth, and a newly expanded product suite (ad network, website builder, paid tiers), we’re entering our next phase of hypergrowth. We are seeking a motivated mid-level Product Manager to lead our Ad Network. This role involves full ownership, from defining strategy to shipping features and incorporating user feedback. Success in this position requires the ability to consistently prioritize evolving initiatives, facilitate progress for others, manage multiple projects simultaneously, make data-driven decisions, deliver comprehensive requirements accompanied by design mockups, and provide meticulous product feedback by actively QAing ongoing projects. You would be the ideal candidate if you have experience building design and editor tools, excel at shipping features at a high velocity in an organized manner, and consider yourself an obsessive power-user of no-code software products. Please note that compensation is dependent on experience. Ideally, you will have: • 4+ years of experience in product management • Strong familiarity with advertising technology, targeting, pixels, measurement, and campaign workflows • Familiarity with product analytics tools like FullStory, Heap, and Amplitude to develop dashboards for internal use • Familiar with Figma to create and give thoughtful design feedback, or for lo-fi mockups • Experience using A/B testing to optimize consumer web experiences Excellent project management skills and ability to own a roadmap end-to-end • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills • Have a demonstrated ability to drive business results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment • Knowing how to code is not a requirement, but, ideally, you have preliminary knowledge that allows you to work closely with engineers to evaluate different approaches to implementing product features, weighing tradeoffs, and other priorities effectively • Having design experience is a huge plus • Having experience working with an ad network or monetization tools is a huge plus What you’ll be responsible for: • Bridging the gap between present-day functionality and the required future state of the Ad Network suite of products, driven by understanding the evolving needs of our users • Communicate with the Ad Network ops and sales teams to better understand our users needs and our vision for the product • Lead extensive discovery by managing internal user forums, aggregating beta launch feedback, conducting user interviews, and conducting competitor research • Create thorough PRDs that can be handed off to engineers for technical scoping • Identifying user pain points through extensive user research • Track feature progress end-to-end, unblock teams, and maintain clear status updates through Linear, our product planning platform • Assist in the execution of the roadmap by delineating milestones and requirements, and by collaborating with the engineering and design teams • Develop and deliver comprehensive training to the internal team, ensuring a thorough understanding and effective communication of all new and updated ad network features and functionalities • Track key product metrics, such as publisher adoption, campaign delivery, conversion data, and advertiser satisfaction, via dashboards and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement Why this role might be for you: • Join a fast-growing new team that prioritizes velocity • High impact and high visibility • You're autonomous and excited about owning projects • Excited about new challenges and executing creative solutions Why this role might not be for you: • Not a traditional 9-to-5 position. • Need to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. • Must be comfortable with rapid iteration and frequent context switching. • High expectations for both speed and quality. • Must navigate complex organizational dynamics. Why beehiiv? • Bias towards action: Our first impulse is to act. We don’t get bogged down in unnecessary processes or bullsh**t. Perfection is the enemy of progress. • Ownership mentality: This company is ours. We go the extra mile because that’s what owners do. Every day, people step up to take on tasks outside of their responsibilities and do whatever it takes for us to succeed. • Building is in our DNA: We are obsessed with improving every aspect of our platform (and ourselves). Whether it’s our product, support, or partnerships, we never stop working to improve it. • We answer to our users: Nothing matters more than serving our users. If our users fail, we fail. • Ego comes second, but winning comes first: We put our egos aside to work collaboratively and build something special. It doesn't matter who's idea or who's vision, we're here to create the best outcome. We're here to win. We'll take care of you: • Competitive salary • Stock Options • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401(k) employer match • Unlimited PTO (mandatory 10 days per year minimum) • Annual in-person team retreat • Unlimited book budget • Monthly Wellness Days (every third Friday of the month)
