Job Summary: This job is responsible for ensuring operational data is fit for purpose, defining controls, and monitoring processes are in adherence to enterprise data management standards. Key responsibilities include triaging and remediating data incidents, performing data analysis, training new users, and performing impact analysis stemming from data updates. Job expectations include helping in defining access and ownership of data by domain, conducting quality control, and overseeing data maintenance. Responsibilities: Ensures data is accurate, complete, and fit for performing data analyses through various testing procedures and data controls which help to identify business insights fit for purpose for a particular product set Develops and executes on Enterprise Data Management policies and standards, works across teams to ensure adherence, serves as a key point of contact for all topics related to data compliance, and manages operational elements of the (Enterprise Data Strategy Governance and Operations (EDSGO) relationship Manages data related incidents and identifies, communicates, and resolves or escalates issues as needed. Data inquiries include questions related to data issues, availability of data, and potential sourcing alternatives to inform Develops, manages, and executes on controls, ensuring tracking, monitoring, and resolution of any control breaches with data platform Partners with Business and Technology functions to drive the development of business and functional requirements documents and ensures strategic upstream resolution for data related incidents Supports the day-to-day operations within the Investment and Funding Products team, focusing on Intercompany Loans (ICL) products. This includes working with Treasury line of business partners to understand their needs, optimizing data provisioning and representing Data Management on product related projects/program/processes Investigates and resolves daily data issues within the CIDW Investment and Funding Products production environment in a timely manner Identifies and leads operational excellence projects to make process more effective and efficient Supports regulatory/audit exams and assist in sustainability routines Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of data analysis experience or equivalent role with transferrable skillsets Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to work independently and take ownership on addressing issues Advanced knowledge of Excel Proficiency with SQL or other equivalent technology/programming/data skills Excellent communication skills with ability to target messaging to different audiences Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Banking or Financial Experience Data management, data analytics, change experience Knowledge of Treasury Banking products Skills: Data Collection and Entry Data Management Data Modeling Issue Management Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines Management Analytical Thinking Collaboration Data Governance Data Quality Management Data and Trend Analysis Business Acumen Controls Management Production Support Regulatory Compliance Solution Design Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Bank of America is committed to help employees through the transition period when they’re displaced as a result of a workforce reduction, realignment or similar measure. Seven steps to a successful interview 1. Anticipate –Put yourself in the interviewer's position. What do you believe the interviewer is most interested in? Why do you think you have been invited to interview? 2. Research –What are the primary functions of the line of business? What are the success factors for the job? Is there a job description available? 3. Assess –Think about your skills, abilities, knowledge, interests, traits, values and accomplishments. Match them to what you know about the job. Consider which ones you should highlight. 4. Prepare Answers –Think about what the interviewer may ask, determine what the best answer is and write it down. 5. Prepare Questions – Interviewing is a two-way street. By asking thoughtful questions, you communicate your interest and learn a lot about the job. Choose two or three questions to ask your interviewer. Avoid asking a lot of questions about vacation time or breaks. 6. Practice – It may seem awkward, but it is the best way to come across well in an interview. Practice your own "great responses" with others or in front of a mirror until you appear relaxed and at ease. 7. Follow-up – Send a brief follow-up letter to the interviewer.
