We’re hiring! Join Axiell and help modernize vital records for governments worldwide Axiell’s Registries & Vital Records (RVR) team empowers governments to deliver secure, modern, and citizen-centered vital records systems. We’re now seeking a Senior Business Development & Delivery Lead — a seasoned, cross-functional leader who can seamlessly move between sales, account management, business analysis, and project delivery. In this role, you’ll bring deep expertise in civil registration and vital records modernization—from births, deaths, and marriages to amendments, certificate issuance, interoperability, and security. You’ll act as an executive partner to our government clients, shaping digital transformation strategies and leading the successful delivery of programs built on Axiell’s Vitalware platform. What You’ll Do Project & Delivery Leadership Lead cross-functional teams (PM, BA, Dev, QA, Data, Security, Training, SMEs) through all delivery phases. Establish governance, schedules, and integrated release plans. • Manage cutover, data migration, verification, and hyper care, defining measurable success outcomes. • Continuously improve our delivery methods, playbooks, estimates, and quality gates. Sales & Solution Consulting You’ll drive discovery, demos, RFPs, pricing, and risk assessments during sales pursuits. • Build value cases and transformation roadmaps that include process re-engineering, digital channels, data migration, interoperability, and analytics. • Translate legislation and policy into clear technical and operational solutions. • Maintain competitive intelligence and guide teams on compliance, bid writing, and evaluation criteria. Strategic Account Management Act as executive sponsor for key jurisdictions, managing relationships, escalations, and growth opportunities. • Develop multi-year account plans and growth backlogs. • Identify and pursue opportunities to extend customer value through new modules, integrations, or channels. • Co-create statements of work, change requests, and partnership frameworks with customers and partners. • Manage escalations, lead communications during critical incidents, and ensure root-cause resolutions and prevention plans. Business Analysis & Product Enablement Translate legislation and policy into workflows, configurations, and interoperability solutions. Lead requirements and discovery across all event modules (birth, death, marriage, fetal loss, amendments, issuance). • Translate legislation and forms into configuration, workflows, business rules, and user stories. • Design interoperability mappings (health, statistics, ID, payments, portals, certificate validation). • Champion accessibility, citizen experience, and operational analytics/KPIs. What You’ll Bring You’re a proven leader in government digital transformation, with deep expertise in vital records and civil registration. You combine strategic vision with hands-on delivery experience—driving success across sales, solution design, account management, and complex program execution. You’ve led the implementation of modern vital records systems covering data migration, document management, security, and interoperability, always ensuring measurable impact and customer confidence. You’re fluent in turning legislation and policy into efficient digital workflows and compliant processes, and you excel at building trust with stakeholders from front-line clerks to State Registrars. Commercially sharp and delivery-driven, you bring strength in governance, risk management, and cross-regional team leadership, backed by experience in Agile and hybrid methodologies. You are a natural communicator and trusted advisor, you inspire confidence through clear strategies, compelling presentations, and effective collaboration at every level.
