CENTRAL OFFICE MANAGER ASSISTANT - AUDIOLOGY/MEDICAL OFFICES- IMMEDIATE Busy Audiology Practice with offices on Long Island and Queens and Brooklyn. We are in search of ambitious, long-term candidates to fill Full-time positions working in our central office in Valley Stream. Must have car and be ok with occasion travel to ancillary offices. An associate degree, at a minimum. is required. References required. The right candidate MUST have 2-4 years of previous administrative experience, preferably in the medical field, be computer/internet competent, punctual, willing to be responsible and take pride in their position. . Job Duties include, but not limited to: · Learning all functions of our business practices · Must be willing and capable to learn the EMR record-keeping system · Familiar with medical billing · Must be able to engage with insurance companies via telephone or e-mail to get insurance authorization and confirm eligibility · Capable of the overall management of dedicated offices. 1) Welcome and greet all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone 2) Answer the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette and follow up 3) Be organized 4) Register new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information in EMR including personal and financial information, and patient co-pays 5) Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff 6) Respond to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner 7) Schedule patient appointments 8) Confirm patient appointments for the next day Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40-42K/YR, sick days, vacation days holidays.
