Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in plastics and polymer solutions for the automotive industry. This position is responsible for business development within our automotive market segment. Key Responsibilities • Manage and grow a portfolio of automotive OEM, Tier 1 and 2 supplier accounts. • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for commercial and technical needs. • Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and drive growth in plastics applications for interior, exterior, and under-the-hood components. • Collaborate with technical, R&D, and engineering teams to deliver customized material solutions. • Lead price negotiations, contract discussions, and long-term supply agreements. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to inform strategic account planning. • Drive project management efforts from concept to production, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery. • Provide accurate sales forecasts, account reports, and market intelligence to leadership Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. MBA a plus. • At least 5 years of of account management or sales experience in the automotive plastics or polymers industry. • Strong understanding of automotive industry dynamics, OEM/Tier 1 supply chains, and material applications. • Proven track record of sales growth and customer relationship management. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
