Electrical Maintenance Technician Temporary need estimated through the end of June 2026 Monday-Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm (OT as needed) Position Summary We’re looking for a hands-on temporary Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, appearance, and safe operation of our buildings, facilities, and grounds. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks—including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and equipment servicing—while working under general supervision in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Facilities & Equipment Maintenance • Perform general building repairs and installations, including painting, carpentry, plastering, plumbing, and basic electrical work. • Maintain, repair, or replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, faucets, and pipes. • Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical components (switches, sockets, lighting, motors, etc.) using appropriate testing equipment. • Install electrical conduit, MC cable, struts, and related items. • Support HVAC or drainage system repairs, including valves, fittings, and fixtures. Material Handling & Tools • Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load and unload materials. • Operate scissor lifts to perform work at elevated heights. Grounds & Facility Upkeep • Maintain company grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. • Ensure outdoor waste storage areas remain organized and compliant. • Remove debris and ensure the overall cleanliness of exterior spaces. • Immediately report any leaks, spills, or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager, EHS Manager, or HR Manager. General & Safety • Follow all company safety policies and procedures. • Support continuous improvement initiatives (VES). • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude. Additional Responsibilities • Perform other duties as required to support facility operations. • Work collaboratively with employees and managers to maintain safe, efficient work environments. Education & Experience • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • 1–3 years of maintenance or related experience required. • Certified Electrician preferred for Level III and IV roles. Skills & Competencies • Strong initiative, reliability, and sense of urgency. • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, structural repair, and general maintenance. • Ability to read and understand written instructions, blueprints, and schematics. • Effective communication and teamwork skills; professional conduct in all interactions. • Strong time management, multitasking ability, and adaptability. • Ability to maintain productivity that meets or exceeds expectations. • Skills level determined by internal Leveling Guide. Work Environment • Industrial indoor/outdoor setting with good ventilation, adequate lighting, and low to high noise levels. Physical Requirements This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and working on various surfaces. Tasks may require lifting up to 100 lbs., operating equipment, and performing repetitive motions with hands or feet.
