What You’ll Do • Modernize legacy financial systems into scalable, resilient, and cloud-native microservices using Java. • Architect and build secure, high-performance apps that meet the toughest financial compliance and data integrity standards. • Optimize DevOps workflows in collaboration with infrastructure teams—automating CI/CD pipelines for speed and reliability. • Lead engineering teams, both onsite and offshore, and drive a culture of clean code, testing, and scalable design. • Refactor and enhance existing codebases for maintainability, scalability, and performance optimization. • Embed AI across the SDLC—including intelligent code generation, testing, and predictive maintenance—fueling innovation and efficiency. • Evaluate and implement tools & frameworks, influencing the tech stack to boost developer velocity and product quality. • Translate business needs into robust, tech-forward solutions in partnership with product, analytics, and security. • Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation for production stability and proactive incident response. • Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and foster a culture of continuous technical growth and collaboration. What You Bring • 8+ years of hands-on Java development (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices). • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD. • Proven ability to scale applications and tune performance using both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis). • Strong understanding of financial systems, compliance, and secure development practices. • Natural leadership instincts with a track record of mentorship, collaboration, and influence. • Passion for innovation, especially at the intersection of fintech and AI-driven engineering.
