I’m working with a client that was recently acquired by a Fortune 100 company — a move that will significantly expand their operations and accelerate their growth trajectory. They’re building out their accounting function and need to hire a Senior Accountant immediately. This is a high-visibility role reporting into exceptional finance leaders who were recently brought in to help scale the business. Highlights • Major acquisition by a Fortune 100 company – enormous growth potential • Outstanding mentorship from newly hired finance leadership • Hybrid schedule: one day in office now, moving to two early next year • Exposure to M&A, SOX compliance, and ERP implementation (SAP preferred) • 1-2 days in the office per week. Responsibilities • Participate in month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations • Support audit preparation and SOX documentation • Collaborate with finance and operations on reporting improvements • Contribute to system and process enhancements during ERP rollout • Assist in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements and intercompany eliminations Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred • Must have 5+ years of experience in public accounting or a mix of public accounting and private accounting experience. • SOX exposure and strong process-improvement mindset • Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP a plus) • Excellent communication and documentation skills This is a high-growth opportunity for someone ready to take the next step and make an immediate impact.
