Merion Restaurant Server - Part Time Summary: The Restaurant Server within our Merion fine dining restaurant will provide exceptional service to members and guests in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable manner to ensure a pleasurable dining experience while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. Primary Responsibilities: • Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) • Greet each member and their guest with a smile and warm welcome • Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverage offerings • Inform member of daily specials and offer recommendations upon request • Take food and drink orders and accurately enter in the POS system • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that each request is fulfilled in a timely manner • Keep the dining room clean and organized throughout the shift • Promote an attitude of teamwork by assisting other team members on the floor and with side work • Become an expert using Jonas POS system • Follow and adhere to the AAC standard of tableside service • Fulfill both opening and closing side work on each shift • Assist in other departments/club functions to help the club as needed, including Special Events Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays • Specific availability to work on Friday and Saturday nights required • Able to stand for extended periods and carry heavy trays • Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members Qualifications: • Be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain an alcohol pouring permit from the City of Johns Creek • Prior serving experience preferred in a fine dining restaurant, but willing to train the right candidate • A people person with a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional member experience Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit program for your physical and financial wellness, creating value in your most important investment - you!
