Responsibilities Develop and implement scalable data pipelines and structures to support descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics models for the pharmacy analytics team. Focus on creating robust, optimized, and interoperable datasets from diverse clinical and internal systems. Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and processing pipelines for the pharmacy analytics domain. Develop and implement technical solutions for merging, normalizing, and structuring raw data from numerous clinical and operational systems to ensure data quality and usability for advanced analytics. Collaborate with the analytics team on design and implementation of the data model and data architecture specific to pharmacy data assets, focusing on optimization, normalization, and interoperability. Identify, define, and resolve data pipeline issues, in coordination with internal and external technical teams. Select, implement, and manage methodologies for data engineering projects (e.g., ETL/ELT process, dataset governance, documentation). Communicate highly technical information about data architecture and engineering processes to numerous audiences, including senior management, the user community (data analysts/data scientists), and less-experienced staff. Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred. Additional Preferences Experience with EHR data structure. Prefer experience working for a large EHR vendor (e.g., Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health) or in a data development, data engineering, or data science role within a healthcare system. Proven experience creating and maintaining interoperable healthcare datasets in a role such as a data engineer, data developer, or data scientist. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) backend data structures from a large vendor (e.g., Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health).
