Come join the Artech team! 25-73948 Tech Lead-Java Duration: 1 year contract Pay rate: $80-$90/hr Location: Fully remote Description Tech Lead – Java (US Remote) Overview We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead with strong Java/Spring Boot expertise, DevOps experience, and proven Git leadership. This role will guide our development team, support solution design, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure governance and process compliance. Responsibilities Lead architecture and development of Java Spring Boot applications and microservices. Support solutioning, deep technical discovery, and technical road mapping with clients. Oversee code reviews, branching strategy, versioning, and Git release processes. Manage CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and deployment standards. Enforce client governance, engineering standards, and best practices. Mentor developers, provide technical direction, and unblock delivery teams. Work in fast-paced environments, multitasking across multiple workstreams when needed. Required Experience 10+ years Java development (Spring Boot, microservices, REST, modern frameworks). 5–6 years DevOps experience (CI/CD automation, deployment, cloud environments). 7–8 years Git expertise including: o GitHub repos and GitHub Actions o code reviews o merge/conflict resolution o versioning and release management o Git history and governance Strong client communication and leadership skills. Experience enforcing development processes and governance in enterprise environments. Preferred Experience with distributed teams.
